In recent years many questioned the role of women in the church. Some said that Biblical principles are not applicable in this day and age, saying that women are free to do. While the Word is clear on manhood and womanhood, some say that these Biblical principles are irrelevant. Fortunately, some organizations are affirming Biblical principles. Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) upholds male and female roles based on Biblical principles. Recently ERLC hosted a webinar – “Why Women are a Vital Part of the Flourishing of the Church”
Blessed Beyond Borders, Beyond Boundaries
Each situation is blessing, even sometimes--or quite often--we don't see it. Thoughts of a twenty-something Christian woman. Trusting God with all my heart, although struggles do not make it easy.

THANK YOU RAVI...
On May 19th 2020 one of the most famous apologists -- Ravi Zaccharias -- passed away. He left behind a huge legacy. Ravi went to be with the Lord. He traveled all over the world. He went to places where many people couldn't go. In addition, he also written many books about faith. Some of his books became bestsellers.

IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AND IT DID
So, something has happened. I knew that it will happen eventually. It just I didn't expect it to happen so early. I didn't expect it to happen the way it did and the response it generated. However, this taught me a lesson that I need to remind myself of this possibility. I confess I wasn't prepared for the effect of that occurrence.

Update and New Writing Endeavours
I have been away from this blog for some time now. It has been over a year since my last post. Well. I am back. I hope to write articles here more often. I have been very busy last year. It has been a year of blessings and trials.
First, I got a job in my field -- an environmental assistant with one of the non-profits. I also had to balance 2 jobs for a few months. Also I had writers block; didn't know what to write about.
So I decided to return to my writing after much prayer and consideration.

What have I been doing with my writing...
Last year I spent much time writing for my contract job. I did some scientific-related writing for that job. After that job was over I was exhausted. I took a break from many things, not just writing.
In the past couple of months I have been interacting with a few famous Christian authors via commenting on their post. Most of my comments are Bible verses. Sometimes those authors don't include Bible verses in their article. I will continue to do that. I think this is the great way for us all to use the internet.
Later... Irina

Life of Trials
Recently I read a very encouraging article by Tim Challies. I decided to resume blogging. I haven't been much on social media either.

A Miracle At the Start of the Year
This year started differently like no other. If someone told me how about it, I wouldn't be convinced that this could happen: a miracle in its classic flavor.
